Don’t make me think. Don’t make me work.
We saw many different designs for carts and checkout processes in our studies, though all needed much of the same basic information from users.
We determined the most successful processes were those that kept the user informed and focused at each step. The exact order of the steps was not as important as the display of information, the ease of entering data, and clear headings and links.
